Choosing
an Internet Solutions company isn't easy. The industry is still in
its relative infancy and it's tough to know what to pay, what you're
getting for your money and what to expect.
We
are a small, friendly web services and support company based in
Manchester, providing organizations in the U.K. with a home on the
web. We are ready to design your business website, on-line catalogues
or personal home pages, as well as offering search engine services,
hosting services, logo, banner and graphic design.
The
W.D. stands for Web Design, the company was started about ten years
ago and really came about by accident. When having designed our own
website, a friend who had a small engineering business asked if we
would do one for his engineering company. That in turn generated
interest from various contacts of his, asking where he had it done
and how much it cost etc. Ten years later 90% of our business still
comes through referrals.
Every
site we design gets personal attention to detail and advice on what
may or may not work for each particular need. They can vary from the
most basic home page for an individual through small business sites
of a few pages that advertise the companies business and services (a
bit like this site in fact) up to more complex multi-page sites. We
try to stay away from flashy graphics, over-the-top colour schemes,
and web pages that take an age to show up in your visitor's web
browser (if at all!)...
